Visiting a new healthcare provider can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. We’ve made the process simple, welcoming, and as relaxed as possible – whether it’s your first time seeing a chiropractor or you’re just new to our clinic.
Our friendly reception team – Alison, Jenny, or Amy – will greet you when you arrive and help you settle. We’ve got a dedicated kids’ area in the waiting room, so little ones can stay entertained while you focus on your health.
Your First Appointment
Your initial visit is all about understanding how your body is functioning. We’ll start with a thorough health history, followed by a detailed exam that includes:
- A digital posture screen
- A Foot Levelers scan (to check foot mechanics and their effect on the spine)
- Orthopaedic and neurological testing
- A full spinal assessment
This visit typically takes about 45 minutes. If we feel X-rays or other imaging are necessary, we’ll refer you to a nearby provider. We won’t begin care until we’ve reviewed all the relevant information and explained everything clearly.
Your Second Visit: Review and Recommendations
At your next appointment, we’ll review your results in plain language and answer any questions you have. You’ll learn how your spine, posture, and nervous system are working and what kind of care may be helpful. You’ll receive your first adjustment during this visit if you’re ready to begin.
Your Third Visit: Sleep and Pillow Review
As part of our whole-body approach, we’ll assess your sleep posture and check your pillow. You’ll lie on our adjustable bed setup, and we’ll offer suggestions to support a healthier sleeping position. We’ll guide you towards a better-fitting pillow to suit your spinal alignment if needed.
Ongoing Visits: Simple, Efficient, Supportive
Regular visits are quicker but never rushed. You’ll be greeted by name, and we’ll check in to see how things are progressing. Every appointment is tailored to your comfort and goals.
